Went to Tap Mun on a weekday to avoid crowds. Sure enough, almost nobody on the island.
The best surprise was the wild cows. Theyre completely unafraid of people, just grazing by the road, not even looking up when you walk past.
The Grassland
Found a clean patch of grass and sat down, looking at the sea. Wind was strong, leaves rustling. That feeling - like the whole world had only me left.
Not loneliness. Freedom.
The Journey Home
Took the kaito to Sai Kung, then bus back to the city. A day of sea breeze, walking, sweating. Very de-stressing.
